I visited to Bantei Srei which is about 32km from Siem Reap before the flight to return. A Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva and one of the smallest sites Angkor. Banteay Srei means 'Citadel of the Women'.The carvings are well preserved the most.
It has been speculated that the temple's modern name, Banteay Srei, is due to the many devata carved into the red sandstone walls.
